RAW. I’ve had a love-hate relationship with RAW over the past year. I started out doing diligent research, reading up on the theory of how it all works and what kind of software I needed to use to get it right. It seemed like such a tamable beast at the time. With a year of off and on use of RAW, I’m finally on track to getting it right. Getting the right RAW presets for my specific camera into Lightroom and figuring out how to use them has made a huge difference in the last month. Camera calibration, software calibration, monitor calibration…calibrations galore! And all this work just to shoot in RAW.
